 What is Multi Tasking

Human multitasking is the concept that one can split their attention on more than one task or activity at the same time, such as speaking on the phone while driving a car. Multitasking can result in time wasted due to human context switching and becoming prone to errors due to insufficient attention. If one becomes proficient at two tasks, it is possible to rapidly shift attention between the tasks and perform the tasks well.

Multitasking helps people feel more accomplished because they can complete more than one task at a time. This feeling of productivity increases motivation and encourages people to keep working on their tasks.

Role of Multi Tasking for Job's

Employee multitasking is beneficial for organisations as it reduces the cost of hiring new employees and also training them. Hiring is a cumbersome process. Human resource professionals need to be extremely careful while recruiting a new person so that he does not create problems later on. You might hire the best candidate but still there is no guarantee. Moreover, a new individual needs to be inducted well into the system. Proper training has to be given for him/her to understand his/her job responsibilities and also know what is expected out of him/her.

Employees with multi tasking abilities are capable of performing many duties at a single time and hence you do not have to invest much in hiring and training new individuals. Rather than appointing a new person, it is always better to rely on someone who is in the system for quite some time and can perform multiple responsibilities. Moreover, you also save on their salaries. When a single person can handle multiple things, you do not have to hire specific individuals for particular tasks.

Multitasking employees certainly increase the productivity of the organisation. They deliver more output with minimum resources. Rather than appointing five new people for a particular process, a multi-skilled employee can do everything on his own. In such a case, you do not need five computers, telephones, drawers or workstations but just one. Nothing is better than a single person doing the work of five people.

Employees with multitasking abilities have better chances of survival than others even in the worst situations. They are the ones who do not have to depend on others for every small thing and believe in doing several tasks on their own. Such organisations do not suffer much even if individuals leave all of a sudden.

Why Best Carrier Option is Digital Marketing

1. Digital Marketers are In Demand:

Digital Marketers are in demand all over the world. If you take a look at LinkedIn’s Booming Jobs Report, for example, you can see the following international trends:
Southeast Asia: Online shopping grew hugely in 2020, becoming worth $62 billion with a growth of 63%. It is expected to grow to $172 billion by 2025.
Spain: During 2020 there was a 61% increase in digital marketing specialist hires. Sales are also expected to increase as Spain is one of the largest e-commerce centre's in Europe
USA: The need for digital marketing doesn’t seem to be decreasing. More time online means more information is consumed online. The top three job titles for digital marketing in the US today are Social Media Marketing Specialist, Digital Specialist, and Digital Marketing Director.
UK: Social Media and Digital Marketing grew by 52% in 2020. There was also an increase in Growth Hacker and Growth Specialist roles.
Germany: The need for freelancers working in digital content grew by 166% in 2020. It was the biggest remote hiring field too.
India: With over 400 million social media users in India, brands want to connect with the market. This has led to a demand for experts.

2. Digital Marketers Can Choose Their Specialities:

Some of the various specializations and roles within the field include:

  • Email Marketing Specialist
  • Social Media Specialist
  • Media Buyer
  • SEO Specialist
  • Videographer
  • Content Manager
  • Graphic Designer
  • Paid Advertising Manager
  • Agency Owner
  • And the list goes on...

3. Flexibility and Income:

As mentioned above, if you want to go remote, digital marketing could be the right fit. There are plenty of options to do freelance work or join an agency that hires remote workers.
In other words, you can enjoy a life/work balance and live just about anywhere with a good internet connection.
You can also use digital marketing to pursue an entrepreneurial path. If you start your own agency, for example, you can find specific clients to work with that can benefit from your specialized expertise.
Another option is to find a job at an agency or for a specific brand. Entry-level Digital Marketing Managers in the USA usually start with a salary above $50k/year.

4. Succeed Without a Degree:

It is possible to learn to become a digital marketer without going to a University or getting a degree?

The answer to that is YES — in fact, because of the way the technology keeps changing, you might be better off without one.

What is Free-lancing

A freelancer is an individual who earns money on a per-job or per-task basis, usually for short-term work. A freelancer is not an employee of a firm and may therefore be at liberty to complete different jobs concurrently by various individuals or firms unless contractually committed to working exclusively until a particular project is completed.

Examples of Freelancers

An example of a freelancer would be an independent journalist who reports on stories of their own choosing and then sells their work to the highest bidder. Another example is a web designer or an app developer who does one-time work for a client and then moves on to another client.
